Organic Cotton we work with our GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) partner solely to ensure the organic status from the harvesting of the cotton, through environmentally responsible fabric and garment production up to the labelling of the products. That includes that all prints, wet processing and dyes are non toxic and biodegradable. We only use natural accessories and packaging which is biodegradable and made of recycled or FSC paper.
Fair Price Practices ensure that a mutually agreed price is paid by all parties through dialogue and participation, and that can be sustained by the market. Fair Trade pricing structures uses national / local law minimums, we work towards living wages.
Ensuring No Child Labour and No Forced Labour. The organizations in our supply chain adhere to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and national / local law on the employment of children. We closely monitor our producers’ employment practices and disclose any involvement of children in the production.
Freedom of Association, Right to Equality and Non-Discrimination. We developed an effective monitoring system which guarantees us that any violation against these human rights within our supply chain will be disclosed and the equal rights for each individual are implemented.
Good Working Condition is ensured throughout our supply chain with national and local laws and ILO conventions on health and safety.
Capacity Building positively increases the development for the producers. We ensure that we provide training at producer level to improve their management skills, production capabilities and access to markets as appropriate.
Creating Awareness of Fair Practices is essential within the fair supply chain. We promote fair practices with information about ourselves, the products and its production.
Respect for the Environment. We maximize the use of natural, biodegradable and recycled materials from sustainable sources. We work towards zero carbon emission using sustainable production technologies, renewable energy technologies and minimizing waste during the production process within the supply chain. Fair Trade cotton farmers minimize their environmental impacts by using organic or low pesticide use production methods wherever possible.
